FNL re-watch “Expectations” aka LANDRY FOREVER! LIVING LARGE WITH LANDRY!

Season five has started and the premiere almost feels like a season finale!

I can’t believe Landry is gone… I don’t even have the words for him. But I do have to say his exit was so fitting. He starts up playing with Crucifictorious being his awesome self, having print ads for their gig - like he used to back in the day :’) - in really cool neon colored paper xD moving on to other things like visiting Grandma Saracen! Which is when I get all the feels because Grandama has always been a tough-lover type with Landry and kind of a closeted fan, but now she is finally admiting he’s a good kid and how awesome he is and YOU GUYS!!! She listens to Crucifictorious on her MP player :’)!!!!!!!!! And then during that scene I just had a flashback of that episode in S1 when he goes take care of her ‘cause Matt had a date with Julie and I just, I don’t know… THE TEARS!

And then, on his last night in Dillon after the gig, he hangs out not in the Alamo Freeze, but in the Alamo Freeze’s Parking Lot! Which is way cooler if you ask me, just hangin’ out with Julie Taylor, reminiscing about good times, specifically about good times with Matt Saracen… You guys!!! Everyone loves Matt so much ♥

And then of course his last hurray is at the Landing Strip with a lady named Candy :) and OMG that’s just so perfect and I just love him so much, he remained himself all the way through, yet he came so far and kind of had a nice little full circle there, I LOVE YOU LANDRY CLARKE, everything about you including season 2 ♥

I sure am gonna miss your face and personality, voice and funny way of talking…

So the theme song hasn’t even played yet and the episode is already so intense, we have Panthers and Lions all together showing some ‘sportsmanship’ or Dillon’s version of it anyways in this big press conference, Jess giving both Vnce and Landry the eyes and we have Julie visiting Grandma Saracen only to find out that Matt QB1 Saracen himself is already there, back from Chicago!!!

- Matty you know i love you as much as the next person but WTF? Can you talk about AWKWARD, you don’t tell Julie you’re leaving the state, your plans for when you’re starting college, where you live, IF you live, weeks and weeks have gone by… You don’t even tell her like are y’all broken up or what? And then you get to Dillon and act all normal and go pick out onions :|

- Jess, I love you but NO. You don’t go hurting Landry. Ever. Just don’t. I do have to admit she was way more sensitive about everything than Tyra ever was, and Jess was always more open about her feelings towards him <3 Now I totally went down with the Tyra/Landry ship don’t get me wrong. I just really liked Jess/Landry also :/  ~ LANDRY FOREVER!!! 

- Am I the only one to believe that both Zach Gilford and Madison Burge should have been billed as regulars this season?

- Tami for President Y’ALL! Can you imagine Coach as First Gentleman? :D

- You guys!!! Tim considers Becky part of his family! He feels she is his only friend left and he wants so much for her to forgive him, to make it up to her and to himself… He gave her Mama Riggins’ snowball :’) and he’s gonna get it back when the time is right :’) and if her mom isn’t around and he isn’t around, she can always count on and go to Billy and Mindy for ANYTHING, he promised her that…

- And then he goes to Billy… And before Billy even knew what Tim was going to do, he gave his speech at the Taylors’ Thanksgiving dinner… But then Tim told Billy ‘I did it’ all of it, and they are both so sorry, and they both love eachother so much…! I can’t. Tim had just said to Becky recently how happy he finally was… I CAN’T!

- But not all of it is sad because THE LIONS WIN… THANKS TO L A N D R Y !

- Nothing hurts!!! Except for Tim! And Tami being forced out of West Dillon!

- But Yay! ‘Cause the New Panthers are horrible people and the East was always better anyways because that’s where Ray’s BBQ is!

And that’s a wrap for season 4!!! This one really went by quickly and I got extra emotional watching because there’s only 1 season left and I don’t even know what I’ll do with myself after the end of this FNL re-watch.

FNL re-watch “The Lights In Carroll Park”

All right, that’s it. How come people don’t like Tim/Becky? I really liked them together since S4 first aired, though I have to admit I was hoping for a romantic storyline with them back in the day, and now with this re-watch I realize (maybe ‘cause I know how everything turns out) that although I wouldn’t necessarily like them in a romantic relationship, their friendship my gosh, they are the cutest ever.

At the moment (of S4) they are both in a sort of lonely place and kind of figuring out who they are and I think Becky brings out a very sweet side of Tim, very caring, they are like a stone for eachother right know, keeping eachother grounded, sane… And yes, Becky is more on the crush vein towards Tim, but she does truly cares for him and believes he can accomplish anything… now I think Tim on some level can sense this from her, and since the other 3 people who also believe in him as much -Jason, Billy, Lyla- are gone with baby, busy with baby on the way and/or gone for college, he is relying on her to keep him, like I said before, grounded, sane.

She’s also a sweet, persistent girl and they happen to have a similar backround in common…

In this particular episode, Tim is SUPER sweet trying to get things ‘back to normal’ with her after the kiss and is like knocking on her door saying he’s there on skeeter’s behalf ^_^ he apologizes, and does pretty much everything he can think of to make things ok and then at the end when she finally wants to talk and goes to his trailer he’s like “yeah, do you wanna come in or…” and when she says no and wants him to come outside he’s like “Yeah absolutely” and instantly comes down out… He’s SO delicate with her, he’s the only one who noticed she’s been “lost” these last few days… and after she tells him the news and how she’s so scared, the first thing he does? Hold her tight and tell her repeatedly “You’ll be fine” ♥

How can you NOT like Tim/Becky?

Landry: “You’re signing up for the book club, which would normally be fine, except for this week’s book is Twilight” 

Tim Riggins: “You know what else is funny? I had sex with your wife.”

FNL re-watch “In The Skin of a Lion”

Well will you look at one of the most epic scenes on FNL ever! All these hanging out with the Taylors has really rubbed off on Mr. Buddy Garrity!

The last straw was when the stupid boosters called Tami a bitch and were talking about getting her fired ¬¬ So Buddy goes up the stairs and lets everyone and Joe McCoy in particular know a few true facts, even confessing to putting up that infamous mailbox! Guess what Panthers, Buddy Garrity is a LION!

‘It’s Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose.’ Walks out… LIKE A BOSS!

- Also Joel Graham / The Dowd / Sam Jaeger makes an appearance! :D

FNL re-watch “After The Fall”

- You guys!!! Look how happy Tim and Coach are to see eachother aaaghhh! :’D and Tim is offering him his help! Tra la la

- OMG You guys, that scene when Tami tells Luke Cafferty that he has to attend (and play for) East Dillon High and he is like begging her and crying that he will get A’s in everything and he’ll do anything and my heart slowly breaks cause then he APOLOGIZES to her in all his pain, for lying to her about where he lives :’( ahhh!

- Tami you are such an intelligent, wonderful, loving, badass person! She handled the whole Joe McCoy / Panthers thing perfectly! I think anyone that has a problem ever, if you are facing a dilemma, or don’t know what you should do, just watch FNL and see what Tami and / or Eric do in all their situations in life :)

- When they’re burning the uniforms and then Luke Cafferty takes his Panthers shirt off and burns it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

- And then Eric says at the end that he’s gonna have to figure out how to get new uniforms. Hahahaha

- When Grandma Saracen is like “Landry, stop throwing the ball, you look like a girl” and he says “OK just this one though” and takes position and Grandma says “No. You’re just a funny looking creature.” so he just gives the ball to Matt instead xD LOL

- Julie acted pretty OK this episode, she hasn’t been this rational since S1!

- Ugh! That Joe McCoy when everyone starts talking to Tami and are like freaking out, Tami is trying to calm everyone down and this dude is just like SMILING grinning from ear to ear ¬¬ that son of a whore son bitch! (Sorry, I just can’t stop using that one since I re-watched Brokeback Montain recently)

- Tami calling the Panthers game offense after Joe McCoy and the other panthers asked her to call defense :D

- That new assistant coach that Coach got that just keeps repeating everything he says xD hahahaha

- That stupid guy attacking Landry and Landry goes all bigger person-Coach Taylor/Matt Saracen style on the guy and APOLOGIZES to him and the guy tells him off…? WHAT? Is that dude for real? OF COURSE Coach Taylor’s gonna FIRE you from the team, no one talks to Lance like that!

- ‘Clear Eyes. Full Hearts.’     *Landry gives a knowing look*     ‘Can’t Lose ;)’
   You are such a team leader wonderful person amazing guy I love you Landry!!!

- Devon is amazing, Landry and her should stay best friends forever!!! You know someone is amazing person when their best friends are Matt Saracen and Devon :)

Season 4!!! 

- Tim and Billy are the cutest ever!!! When Billy tells Tim that Mindy is pregnant and Tim is SUPER happy and they’re both so playful and brotherly and the scene before at the auction xD 

-…And then at the wedding, you guys, Billy loves Tim SO MUCH 
 
And he wants his future kids to look up to Tim, and Tim was so happy he was gonna be able to stay with him at Riggins Rigs and they are eachother’s only family, well now of course there’s Mindy :) and future baby Riggins but yeah! <3

- Tyra got into college!!!!!!! :D And Landry loves her SO MUCH and believes in her SO MUCH and when Tyra got the letter which is the most important thing for her  at that point, the first thing she does? Goes to find Landry! And they are in love and happy for like the first time ever you guys, I’m gonna cry!!!!!!!!! Everything is perfect right now and nothing hurts, they’ll be very happy forever and ever, yes. That is it.

- Matt’s picture from the 7th grade LOL So cute!

- Tim Character Growth Riggins strikes again with his charm and acts -to quote Mr. Coach Eric Taylor- honorably, and is the bigger person and so cool and tells Lyla to go to Vanderbilt and you cansee he is emotional but he keeps a smile on his beautiful face :’)

- I LOVED seeing Buddy Garrity and Mrs. Tyra’s Mom being friendly at the wedding, after what happened between them and that fateful day at church once upon a time… :)

-Mindy with the ‘subtle’ butterfly wedding dress!!! 

- I can’t believe this is the same season with Smash and his knee problems, feels like ages ago!

-Oh man, I loved this season! So far I think i love all the first three seasons equally :)

-Landry Clarke

- OMG you guys I just remembered a couple of episodes ago when Coach promotes Landry and he will actually play in the state championship game ‘cause he is a great guy on and off the field and he is like “Lance! Come here! :D you did it!” Hahahahahahaha!

Yeah. 

So I made two parts of this episode cause that last scene with Tyra and her mom made me cry so much, it needed it’s own post.

Now onto the lighter (actually not so light) stuff:

- OMG JD McCoy’s dad goes bezerk and starts HITTING him! WHAT! That creep! poor JD’s mom and poor JD, he’s a kid and under so much pressure from his own father. He’s doing his best and doing everything to please him, ughhh! Thank goodness Coach and Mrs. Coach were there!

- Matt can’t take care of Grandma Saracen anymore! It just breaks my heart whenever she is having one of her episodes and Matty does the best he can but doesn’t really know what to do :( and Grandma Saracen apologizes cause she doesn’t wanna cause any troubles :’(

- Landry was more charming and sexier than ever. Ugh.

-Tim IS a good boyfriend and I love that he said it to Lyla in his own, laid back, casual Riggins way :) I’m glad he is aweare of this.

And now… a lil comment about “New York, New York”

Ok so I didn’t write anything about NY,NY or the last few episodes just cause I watched them really late and just went right to sleep after re-watching them, but I do have to honorably mention:

- Jason Street’s last episode of his send off arc, I will miss him terribly, but he’s gone on to do bigger and better things with the beautiful Erin and their perfect baby Noah :) I will miss Herc also.

- Coach and Matt throwing-catching in the street and Matt has to catch ALL 10 throws so Coach will consider changing him position… he makes nine and then……. Misses… THE FACE COACH MAKES he is so bummed Matt missed the last one, and his arm hurts cause he was throwing like never before cause he wants to push Matt to his limits and built him more character because he wants the best for him because he loves him and knows he’ll handle it and then he considers it anywayyyyys!!!! :’) OMG that scene you guys!!!

-YOU GUYS! Cash the hot and douchey cowboy that Tyra had been dating the last couple episodes is “Matt” on The Vampire Diaries!

I am amazed by this cause I’ve watched Vamp Diaries many, many times and never made that connection, I do like that character Matt and all but that’s about it. BUT whenever I see Cash on FNL i’m like “OMGGG he’s SO HOT! UGH! Who is he??”

What does this mean? Am I into cowboys? Or worse! Am I into douchey broke cowboys with a drug habit?
